We are looking for a Coordinator for QC Chemistry in Uppsala. The chemistry laboratory is responsible for the control of the final product and packaging materials and participates in several development projects. The laboratory currently employs about 60 people. The dominant analytical techniques in the laboratory are chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and microscopy. The section includes not only Coordinators but also Specialists and laboratory engineers.

The position is a fixed-term employment for trial purposes, which after 6 months will convert to a permanent position upon agreement between the parties. Immediate start. Laboratory engineers.

The role of the Coordinator involves coordinating quality and delivery activities within QC C to ensure compliance with established requirements regarding GxP, other regulatory requirements, and global Fresenius Kabi requirements.

You plan your own work according to given priorities and time frames, where there may be short deadlines during certain periods. This requires a good ability to manage multiple ongoing activities simultaneously and make relevant priorities.

As a Coordinator, it is important that you enjoy independently following up and communicating the overall situation regarding deliveries within set time frames. You will lead the deliveries and have close contacts with Supply, Production, and QA. The position involves very close collaboration with your colleagues, including other departments (possibly also interculturally), which requires good collaboration and communication skills. To succeed in this role, you need to be proactive, goal-oriented, structured, and clear. You can make accurate reconciliations and priorities in parallel tasks and projects. It is also important that you are self-sufficient in your work, take initiatives, and demonstrate good judgment. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Your main responsibilities

• Overall coordination of incoming samples to QC C
• Overall coordination of deliveries (bridge between Supply – QC – QA)
• Coordination of project analyses (bridge between projects and QC C) and being the contact with external labs
• Close contact with team leaders regarding priorities, delivery status, and major disruptions
• Development of KPIs
• Represent QC C in OOX forums
• Monitor trends in analysis results
• Actively participate in improvement work within QC C
• Write and review reports, experimental plans, and other documentation for the section
• Represent QC C at staff meetings

We are looking for someone who has

• A minimum of a three-year university education with a scientific/technical focus
• At least five years of experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
• At least 3 years of experience in QC
• Advanced Swedish in speech and writing (level C1)
• Full command of English in speech and writing (level C2)
• Experience in a leading role (e.g., coordinator, project management, team leader, or group manager) within QA or QC is highly meritorious
